Recently I had an error on my disc that I lost a lot of information. To grab a backup I had, I discovered I was a bit outdated and lacked many photos of me which was on Facebook. But put down one by one is one of those tasks with a tendency to be postponed, unless you use an application such as Pick & Zip, which I did.

Twitter now reject advertising

Biz StoneTo settle the rumors that are circulating on the Internet since a few days after the change of its terms, the cofounder of Twitter, Biz Stone, has made clear that advertising will not be added to the popular microblogging network, at least until later this year.

A clarification certainly closes the door to financing via advertising and that seems to be for long, according to statements by Stone, who has been emphatic in saying that ‘any approach to advertising will be a while. We’re not thinking about advertising, “as reported by Reuters.

In the words of the founder of this social network, all efforts to secure funding in the future go to offer best search and the payment of private accounts. In this sense, the company is considering the possibility of creating premium accounts for businesses to deal with the costs of the platform.

In any case, Stone stated, “we wanted to show people that we are here to stay and we are already making money.

Make digital media more sociable

Posted in Social Networking by jevuska on September 21, 2009

Digital journalism is supposed to promote the conversation, but with websites news often do not provide the tools to make the conversation take place.

The application of social media and allow readers to connect to the organization via Twitter, Facebook and other social networks can make it easier for users to engage with the content of news and community members.

However, some basic tools that allow readers to share content through social media are not being used. A recent study that looked at almost 200 newspapers and television stations with Twitter accounts found that only one third of these offer readers a way to share a link to the published stories using Twitter, while 80 percent gave Share this information button on Facebook.

With these applications is easier for readers to comment or interact, participate in live chats and in some cases even help with the information distributed on their own blogs where the conversation can improve and strengthen the relationship between the news organization and your audience.
